Out of my distress I called on the Lord;
the Lord answered me and set me free.
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can man do to me?

Psalm 118:5-6

Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery.

Come behold the wondrous mystery
Slain by death the God of life
But no grave could e’er restrain Him
Praise the Lord; He is alive!

What a foretaste of deliverance
How unwavering our hope
Christ in power resurrected
As we will be when he comes.

I can’t wait until the day that I get to worship Him without sin. I can’t even comprehend what that is going to feel like.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

2 Timothy 4:7

I hope that at the end of my life I can say this.

I feel like God laughs at us sometimes. He laughs at our foolishness, our insecurities, our complaints. He laughs when we get upset by the things we did not or could not get. He laughs at our disappointment when things don’t turn out the way that we want them to. He laughs when we use our self-absorbed minds to dream and fantasize about our “what ifs” and “if onlys.”

I feel like he laughs at our lack of faith in Him and then says, “My child, you have no idea what I have in store for you.”
